Description The Baby Lock flat sole foot is a highly recommended foot to use in place of the standard foot. The flat sole foot looks similar to the standard foot but is completely flat underneath. Used for sewing heavy fabrics and stitching over intersecting seams, the flat sole foot prevents puckering and reduces needle breakage. This foot also features a tape guide used to insert cotton stay tape into seams as well as adding thin elastic to garments. The needle markings on the front of the foot ensure accurate stitch alignment. This foot can be used for all overlocking but due to the smooth underside, does not create a good gather on a single layer of fabric.
